Statue of the Virgin Mary and the Christ child. I am reminded of an interesting proposition in that what would aliens think if they landed and looked through one of these churches? It would appear that the Virgin is much more the center of adoration then her child, and in this church in Paris it seemed overwhelming that Mary was much more the center of the adulation.
